1. Run the five-second test
Show your site for five seconds to someone who doesn’t know your business. If they can’t say what you offer and who it’s for, start by rewriting the headline.
2. State the next step
Every page should end with an action. “Contact” says little; “Get your quote” says what will happen. The button should be easy to spot, especially on a phone.
3. Remove friction from the form
- Ask for few details.
- Say when you’ll reply.
- Add an alternative, such as WhatsApp or email.
- Test the form now and then: a broken one loses inquiries silently.
4. Answer objections
How much is it? How long does it take? Do you work in my area? What if I don’t like it? When those questions go unanswered, many people leave without asking.
5. Show real proof
Finished work, your own photos and genuine reviews. If you’re just starting out, explain your process in detail: clarity builds trust too.
6. Reply quickly
People who inquire are often comparing several options. A quick, personal reply can matter as much as the website.
7. Measure before changing
An analytics tool shows how many people visit and how many send an inquiry. Change one thing at a time so you know what worked.
8. Then bring in more visits
Once the site is ready, it makes sense to work on local SEO, Google Business or ads pointing to a well-built landing page.
